Course Description
You’ll find the Park City Golf Club on the short list of Utah’s
finest – and most challenging – public golf courses.
It has twice hosted the Utah State Women’s Amateur Championships.
Park City Golf Club also ranks among the state’s most beautiful
layouts, punctuated with broad Evergreen trees and crystalline ponds,
fed by a clear-mountain stream that makes its presence known on
several holes.
2006 marks PCGC’s 43rd Anniversary. Its first nine was built
in 1963 by William Neff, and grew to 18 holes in 1976. This summer,
the course features a new 18th hole designed, appropriately enough,
by William Neff, Jr. Already, the new par 5 is considered one of
the classic finishing holes in the state.
Golf Properties
PCGC’s front nine winds
its way through spectacular Thaynes Canyon – a long-popular neighborhood
among Park City locals – and near magnificent Iron Canyon, one
of the city’s most desirable addresses. Home prices range from $1.4 million to $3.1 million.
On the back nine, Three Kings, Pay Day and Park Avenue condominiums
line the 16th, 17th, and 18th fairways. Because these properties
are within easy walking distance of Park City Mountain Resort, they’re
enormously popular among second-home buyers who want value, as well
as income-producing rental properties. Condominium pries range from $415,000 to $725,000.
