Course Description
The name Tuhaye derives from a Native American word meaning “The Good Land,”
and just one visit to this spectacular landscape will make clear how apt that
name really is.
Tuhaye’s rolling hills, dotted with sage and native oaks, give way to spectacular
views to the west – the Jordanelle Reservoir, the Deer Crest side of Deer Valley
Resort and, off in the distance, mighty Mount Timpanagos. Working with renowned
land planners Hart Howerton, Talisker Deer Valley – the master developer for both
Tuhaye and the exclusive neighborhood of Empire Pass in upper Deer Valley – strove
to ensure that residents would always enjoy magnificent views of Tuhaye’s stunning
topography.
When complete, approximately 650 homes will be built on Tuhaye’s 2,000 acres, whose
centerpiece is an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course designed by British Open
and Masters champion, Mark O’Meara, a part-time Park City resident. Recently, famed
golf course architect Tom Fazio agreed to design Tuhaye’s second 18-hole championship
layout.
Golf Properties
As of this writing, Tuhaye homesites are priced from $635,000 to $735,000, depending
on size and views. In addition, acclaimed Las Vegas luxury homebuilder Christopher
Homes is building both attached and detached homes, ranging in size from 2,005 square
feet to more than 5,000 square feet, and priced from the $1 millions.
Tuhaye property owners have the opportunity to become members of the Talisker Club.
Club members may use all the amenities at both Tuhaye and Empire Pass, as well as the
Tuhaye Ski Club pavilion located at the base of Deer Valley Resort’s Jordanelle Express
Gondola.
